This is a post written by Eric Limer of Gizmodo sharing about a microscopic organic the first transistor arrays can be implanted into humans’ brains. These new flexible transistors are developed by French scientists working on prototypes designed by the Cornell NanoScale Science and Technology Facility.

The new flexible transistors can accurately document brain activity. While  current electrocorticography electrodes can grab data through human’s neuron jolts, the problem relies on the noise that surrounds that essential data that are acquired. However, the new transistors is said to be 10 times more efficient in filtering all distractions.

The increased accuracy in identifying areas in the grain can help in brain operations such as tumor removal or identifying areas that are causing epileptic seizures.
