Number 1 in her list is, before going out and beginning your search, we need to sit down and list all the things we wish our home to be. Second is, bring a chart or checklist since this will help you remember the good things about the recent homes you looked into. Third, if you are exploring the house for the first time, just let your excitement take over and enjoy yourself. Fourth, go outside the house and take a tour of that house for the second time and this time, take notes and fill up your checklist.

Laura Gaskill continues to share and moves on to number 5 which is to bring furniture measurements. The sixth tip, is create a sketch of the floor plan. Seventh is, ask if you can take photos. The eighth step is open the closets and cupboards. 9th in her list is, lift up the rugs to check for hidden damages on the floors.
