Do Not Mess With A Flight Attendant

You may be not one of them, but there are passengers that get into the nerves of flight attendants. Although, flight attendants are trained to be polite and helpful, they can be tough once they see or think your being difficult.

Katia Hetter shares in CNN about the 109 high school seniors who learned that flight attendants have the authority to remove disobedient passengers from a flight. This shows that getting in bad terms with flight attendants can indeed mean serious trouble or inconvenience.

Hetter shares some suggestions to prevent trouble and make your travel smoother:

Be kind to flight attendants. These workers meet numerous, different people every day, and there are a lot of them who do not have a pleasing personality. A little kindness may put you in the courteous travelers category in the flight attendants’ mind. Kindness is acknowledged immediately by most flight attendants as they rarely receive such treatment.

Follow every direction or instruction. consumer blogger Chris Elliott explains that “You keep your head down and do exactly what the flight attendants say without questioning them.” The attendant won’t find a reason to worry about you and will direct their attention to others. Elliot also shares the significance of taking a shower before boarding a plane. Having a disturbing odor can be a bad way of getting the flight attendants’ attention. Last in Hetter’s suggestions is educating your children in advance such as teaching them the rules that need to be followed at an airport or on an airplane.

As flight attendants are trained to assist us, educating or punishing troublesome passengers is also part of their job as it can ensure the convenience and safety of the majority. Try to follow instructions and prevent conflict as getting into the bad side of flight attendants may put you in a more inconvenient situation. via [CNN]
